Normandy travel planning comes down to a few questions. When should you go? How do you get there from Paris? Which dates or tides might shape your days? Each page below answers one of these questions, so you can plan a Normandy trip in whatever order suits you.

Start with Best Time to Visit Normandy to choose a season. Then check Normandy Weather by Month to see what each month looks like. Getting to Normandy from Paris explains how to reach the region from the capital.

If your trip falls close to the anniversary of the landings, read D-Day Anniversary: June 6 in Normandy before you book anything.

Two tools help with the details. The Mont-Saint-Michel tide calendar lists the tides around the Mont, so you can time your visit to the bay. With the pass calculator, you pick the sites you plan to see and it adds up their entry prices. That total helps you decide whether a pass makes sense for your trip.
