My Normandy Pass collects very little about you. There are no accounts, no newsletter, no advertising or tracking cookies, and no forms to fill in. This page explains each piece of data the site handles, why it handles it, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. When you open a page, Cloudflare processes standard request data, such as your IP address and details about your browser. It needs this to deliver the page to you and to protect the site from abuse. Any website you visit handles this kind of request data in some form.
Our fonts are served from our own server, so loading a page does not send your request to an outside font service.
Analytics
The site may count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies. The counts tell us how many people read a page, such as a town guide or an itinerary. That helps us decide which pages to keep up to date first. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
The pass calculator
The Normandy pass calculator lets you tick the sites you plan to visit. Your picks are saved in your browser’s local storage on your device, under the key “mnp-pass”. That way your list is still there when you come back to plan the rest of your trip. These picks are not sent to us.
To remove them, clear the site data for mynormandypass.com in your browser settings. In most browsers you can do this from the privacy or site settings menu. You can also clear all browsing data, although that removes saved data for other sites too. Once you clear it, the calculator starts empty on your next visit.
The site has no contact form. If you email us, we use your address and your message only to reply to you. We do not add you to a mailing list, because there isn’t one.
Links to other sites
Many pages link to official sites, such as an attraction’s own website or a transport operator’s timetable. When you follow one of those links, you leave this site, and that site’s own privacy policy applies. Please read it if you plan to book or share personal details there.
Contact
If you have a question about privacy on this site, or you want to ask about an email you sent us, write to contact@post.mynormandypass.com. The contact page has more on getting in touch, and about this site explains who runs the site and how pages are checked.
